MILAN VINTAGE TOUR

Milan Vintage Tour gives you an opportunity to discover retro style fittings, accessories and clothes as well as experiencing evenings at places where magic of bygone is still preserved. Our Milan vintage tour starts around the Navigli – the old canals where a large part of the Milan Movida takes place and a really authentic part of the city. Here you can find Maison Borrella, a small hotel in a former home with an exquisite internal courtyard.
Before leaving the Navigli we stop at Mauro Bolognesi, a small showroom with vintage Scandinavian furniture and accessories. Then we walk through the Vicolo dei Lanvandai where women would do the laundry, now surrounded by ateliers of artists and workshops. Then we proceed along the Naviglio Grande, towards the Duomo, the cathedral and symbol of Milan, through a labyrinth of narrow, medieval streets where the store Wait and See is tucked away. In this cosy vintage concept store you can sip on a coffee while admiring vintage accessories from all over the world.
Then onto the Vintage Delirium showroom, where embroidery and exquisite fabrics dating back between 800 and the 1980’s are for sale in a fairytale like inner courtyard near the cathedral.
If you love retro clothes you shouldn’t miss to stop by at Cavalli e Nastri, a renowned vintage boutique in Milan, or another favourite My Room by Susanna Ausoni, stylist to the Milan jet setters and councillor on the perfect outfit for every occasion.
Our tour cannot miss the Nonostante Marras concept store, a multifunctional space where clothes – vintage and new collections –  are mixed with art, food and culture.
If it happens to be aperitif time, our Milan Vintage Tour will take you to Fonderie Milanesi where you can sip on your old style cocktail in the former metal workshop in a 250 year old building.
Milan’s speakeasy Club 1930 is where we like to conclude our tour. A long hidden secret, inspired by the era of prohibition, where you could orignally only get through to the back room of the bar with an invitation or password.
